F.A.Q.s

1. Are your bikes Pedal Assist or Full Throttle?

The pedal-assist mode works in with the electric motor to give you a little boost. The Boost will feel stronger the more power you use.  It comes in handy when tackling those pesky hills.

The throttle only mode works like the throttle on a scooter or motorcycle. You can cruise along or quickly pick up speed using only the electric engine.

2. Do you offer returns?
  • No returns after 7 days of receiving
  • To be eligible for a return, the bike must be unused, free from dirt, dust, or any fragrances, and in the same packaging and condition that you received it
  • Box must be sealed and unopened
  • Customer pays $175 shipping fee (this is withheld from refund)
  • Subject to up to a 25% restocking fee (this is withheld from refund)
3. How far can I ride on a single charge?

You can expect to ride 25-40 miles on a single charge. If you're lighter you'll likely get closer to the high end of the range. It also depends upon how much power you use (full throttle vs pedal assist)  Most of our riders get between 30-35 miles per charge.

4. How long does it take to charge the battery?  How long does a battery last?

The battery should charge within 5-6 hours from empty and plugged into a regular outlet.

With normal use, the battery is expected to last approximately 700-900 full cycles.  Just like any lithium-ion batteries, like our phones or personal devices, they hold less charge over time.  With most things, the more you use an item, the shorter the life.  That being said, if you ride your PWR Supply bike 3-5 times a week, and properly care for the battery and charger, your battery should last 5 years.

5. Do ebikes require maintenance?

All bikes (including ebikes) require maintenance over time to keep the bike safe and in top condition.  Cleaning, maintenance and adjustments are needed to keep you charged and riding.  Check out our article HERE to learn more.

6. Do your bikes come with a warranty? (answer below and we could also look into having something more beefy via a link - like what Rad does)

We offer a 1 year warranty on all parts including the battery, but do not cover flat tires and brakes.  This warranty does not cover normal wear.  Please check out our suggestions for important bike maintenance here..
